What to expect

What this treatment is, who it suits, how the visit goes, downtime and when results appear. Every plan is finalized in person with your provider, so treat the details here as a starting point for the conversation.

Before and after

A good result starts before you arrive

Before your visit

Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treatment area. Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E for 3 to 7 days where your provider advises, to reduce bruising. Tell us about any change in your health, medications, allergies or pregnancy status. If you have a history of cold sores, let us know before lip, laser or microneedling treatments.

Aftercare

Your provider will send written aftercare specific to your treatment. In general: no strenuous exercise, heat or alcohol for 24 to 48 hours, gentle cleansing only, daily broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher, and no other facial treatments in the area for two weeks. Call us the same day about anything that concerns you.

Where does the PRP come from?

From a small draw of your own blood, spun in a centrifuge at your visit. Nothing is added except, for EZ Gel, gentle heat.

How many sessions will I need?

Most guests see the best change with a series of three spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, then maintenance once or twice a year. Results vary.

Is Rejuran FDA approved?

Injectable polynucleotide products are approved in Korea and Europe but are not FDA approved for injection in the United States. Ask your provider about the method offered and its regulatory status at your consultation. [Medical director review required before publishing.]
