What to expect

What this treatment is, who it suits, how the visit goes, downtime and when results appear. Every plan is finalized in person with your provider, so treat the details here as a starting point for the conversation.

Before and after

A good result starts before you arrive

Before your visit

Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treatment area. Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E for 3 to 7 days where your provider advises, to reduce bruising. Tell us about any change in your health, medications, allergies or pregnancy status. If you have a history of cold sores, let us know before lip, laser or microneedling treatments.

Aftercare

Your provider will send written aftercare specific to your treatment. In general: no strenuous exercise, heat or alcohol for 24 to 48 hours, gentle cleansing only, daily broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher, and no other facial treatments in the area for two weeks. Call us the same day about anything that concerns you.

Is it safe for my skin tone?

Morpheus8, Ultraformer and our laser hair removal wavelengths are used across all skin tones. CO2 and Ultra Glo settings are adjusted to your Fitzpatrick type, and some deeper settings may be declined for safety. Sun avoidance before and after is essential for everyone.

How much downtime?

Ultraformer: none. Ultra Glo: 1 to 3 days of pink. Morpheus8: 1 to 3 days of redness, with grid marks up to a week. CO2: 2 to 7 days depending on depth. Laser hair removal: a few hours.
(03)

When do I see results?

Hair removal and resurfacing show within weeks. Tightening from Morpheus8 and Ultraformer builds over 3 to 6 months as collagen remodels. Results vary.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes. Every guest is examined by a licensed medical provider before any treatment, and the plan is confirmed with you before we begin. Reserving online holds your treatment; candidacy is confirmed at your visit.
